So you’re ready to get started with contracting—awesome!

As mentioned on the Licensed Agent Checklist, your contracting manager has emailed you 4 emails: HCMS, SureLC, Slack, and the CRM.

In this page, we’ll discuss what HCMS is, why it’s important, and the process to getting it set up.

So, what’s HCMS?

HCMS stands for Hierarchy Compensation Management System.

Think of it as the “Facebook” for FFL.

This allows you to see all the carriers you are affiliated with, see all your uplines and downlines and put in requests for Carriers outside of SureLC.

Why is it important?

If you have a downline, their carriers will reflect in what you, as their upline, can request.

For example: If you don’t have Prosperity, your agent will not be able to apply for Prosperity until you are contracted with them and if it reflects in your HCMS account.

OR

If you do have AIG but fail to upload that into your HCMS account, corporate will look it as you don’t have it, and will not allow for your downline to request that carrier.

So whether or not you have a downline, it’s important to have your HCMS account updated with all the carriers you have Writing Numbers for.

So, how do I set my account up?

Once you let your Contract Manager know that you are ready for contracting, they will send you 4 emails.

One of them will contain the link to set up your HCMS account.

Once you receive the email, click on the link to start your onboarding.

Fill in your agent information:

Please put in all your information CORRECTLY before submitting it to the next page.

Be sure to plug in your SSN and your NPN number.

Uploading an image is optional.

Complete HCMS onboarding

After submitting your information, it will also prompt you to create a password.

That completes the onboarding portion!

This will prompt the system to send you the SureLC link.

How To Set Up HCMS
