Contracting Help

I’m trying to create my SureLC account, but when I enter my information, it’s saying that it cannot find me in the NIPR system.

When that happens, usually it means that you haven’t been in the NIPR system long enough for them to register your number. On the day you receive your license, you will still have to wait 2-3 business days for it to fully register, and then proceed to create your profile again.

I tried signing onto LIMRA, but it’s saying that there is no user with that credential.

You will need to wait 1 week after the day you submitted all of your applications with the carrier through SureLC—Please allow 7 days for the carriers to receive your application for them to allow you access to LIMRA.

A friendly reminder that you do not need an AML to complete your contract. You will need to submit your application with all the carriers FIRST, and then wait a week after to gain access to LIMRA to complete the AML Education.

I have my all my writing numbers from all carriers now. What do I do with them?

You will need to update your carriers on the HCMS account by:

Add Request > New Carrier Request > Missing Carrier Request > Select your carriers and type in your Writing Number.

I tried updating my writing number on HCMS for Prosperity and some other carriers but I don’t see it on the drop down menu.

Unfortunately, some carriers have to entered manually by your contracting manager. The admins only have a small time frame on Tuesdays and Fridays for one hour to submit these writing numbers.
